With its natural fireproof qualities, Alupave is suitable for high rise buildings as a safe, non-combustible decking option. At the forefront of design is the double-peak anti-wear surface, this offers both longevity for high traffic areas without warping or rotting. This durability makes Alupave suitable for both domestic and commercial projects. Unlike timber decking, aluminium decking will not combust, allowing you to use BBQ’s and patio heaters on Alupave, safely. As well as this, Alupave has undergone strenuous anti-slip testing, in both wet and dry conditions. In most conditions, Alupave achieved a low to moderate slip potential rating. As it is manufactured from aluminium, Alupave will stay between 10-25% cooler than composite or hardwood decking when in direct sunlight. Also, whilst thermal expansion is inevitable, Alupave has been designed to have very minimal thermal expansion in comparison to other decking materials. As well as standard ground level decking, Alupave is suitable for flat roof applications, such as verandas, balconies, and roof terraces. This provides a sealed roofing solution which will reduce the need for waterproofing products. You’ll find that the Alupave decking and flat-roofing system has an integral gutter system, enabling superior water management. With the integral hidden drainage system, you can manage the flow of rainwater to encourage it to drain to your chosen outlet points or rainwater harvesting points. The completely hidden fixings mean there is no need for unsightly clips and brackets and each board also comes with two pre-lubricated gaskets included.
