This roofing timber is for fixing roof tiles, slates, and sheets, batten. Colour may vary. The battens are blue in colour indicating that each individual batten has been assessed, graded and complies with the strength requirements of BS 5534: 2003 A1: 2010. The battens are manufactured from timber selected from approved sources in accordance with BS 5534: 2003 A1: 2010 and graded by an optical grading machine prior to the application of a coloured pigmented preservative treatment. Please note there is a minimum order quantity of 48 linear meters with this product. Please note: Lengths provided vary depending on your area as we source locally, normally lengths are between 3.6m-4.8m. If you order the total linear meterage required it will be provided in what lengths are available. Blue or Red batten may be supplied due to material shortages, both colors comply with BS5534.
