This Spanish natural slate, named Passaro Heavy after the quarry it’s selected from, is a heavy-grade slate with an even surface and a no risk of discolouration. The pre-holed natural Spanish slate is a tough and durable natural material with a uniform thickness that can be installed on pitches as low as 25° in a moderately exposed location and 30° in a severely exposed location. Spanish natural slate has a smooth overall finish and a consistent thickness between 7-9mm which gives an even roof slope. Spanish natural slate samples are continuously tested at the quarry to ensure that it meets BS EN 12326-1 for roofing slate. Acceptable levels of carbon content and a smooth surface combine to make Spanish Passaro natural slates a firm favourite from consistent, traditional and attractive roofs. Spanish Natural Slate Delivery It’s strongly recommended that an extra 5% of quantity needed is ordered to offset any breakage in transport or installation. Spanish natural slate is delivered on a six-wheel tail-lift lorry that’s 11m x 2.4m so there are delivery restrictions in place. If the lorry is unable to access your site and off-load safely then an additional delivery charge will need to be made. Should you require a crane off-load or a smaller vehicle please notify us at the time of ordering as an additional delivery charge may be required. Delivery Notes - Our slates are typically delivered on a six-wheeled lorry (11m long & 2.4m wide) with a tail-lift facility to offload on solid, level ground with a pump truck.Non-compliance to delivery restrictions may result in additional delivery charges. Should you specifically require a crane or small vehicle offload, please notify us at the time of placing the order, as an additional charge may be incurred.
